  • Heineken Beer Garden: 10H00
  • VIP Check-in: 12H30 (if you’ve purchased a VIP package)
  • Holding area for standing ticket holders opens: 11H00
  • Doors: 15H00
  • Jesse Clegg: 18H00
  • Imagine Dragons: 19H00 – 21H00 (approx.)

Please arrive early to avoid queues. We don’t want you to miss a moment!

The show will continue rain or shine, please ensure you are dressed appropriately, wear a rain jacket or poncho. Umbrellas are not permitted. 

GET YOUR TICKETS READY

 Have your tickets ready:

  • Download the Ticketmaster app from the APP Store or Google Play. 
  • Login to your Ticketmaster account and download your tickets to the Ticketmaster app.
  • Alternatively, you can access your Tickets in your Ticketmaster account at www.ticketmaster.co.za through the browser on your mobile phone.
  • Please ensure you have the tickets ready to scan at the entrance to the venue.
  • Screenshots are not valid for entry.
  • Only tickets purchased from Ticketmaster.co.za are valid for entry. If you’ve purchased tickets from secondary resellers such as Viagogo, you will not be permitted entry into the venue.

Need to transfer tickets to a friend:

  • In the Ticketmaster app or your Ticketmaster account on the Ticketmaster website, go to your Imagine Dragons Order under “Upcoming Events”.
  • Select “Transfer”.
  • Select the tickets you want to transfer.
  • Enter recipient’s details.
  • Select “Confirm”.
  • The recipient will receive an email and they must accept the tickets and register a Ticketmaster account for the tickets to be transferred from you to them.
  • Please give your family and friends a nudge and ask them to check their spam folder if they don’t receive the email from Ticketmaster.

BOOK YOUR TRANSPORT 

The Imagine Dragons “Mercury World Tour” will be a large-capacity event, we strongly suggest that you plan your journey and allow for extra travel time to get into the stadium and arrive early to avoid queues and traffic congestion.

The following transport options are recommended:

OPTION 1: PARK AND RIDE

The Park and Ride service is designed with dedicated lanes in conjunction with traffic management to ensure a safe, comfortable, punctual, and stress-free transport solution for event attendees.

A temporary Park and Ride station will be set up within short walking distance from the stadium entrance. Ample signage, staff and security will be deployed to assist passengers on arrival and departure.

To ensure that the Park and Ride is accessible to as many individuals as possible, services are available from the following departure points: 

Your Park and Ride ticket will include return transport and includes free, undercover parking at all departure points:

The first buses will depart from the above points at 13h00 and the last bus will depart promptly at 16h00. The last bus will depart from FNB Stadium no later than 60 mins after the conclusion of the final performance.

By making use of this service, you will be making a huge contribution towards reducing the carbon footprint of the event and traffic-induced stress around the stadium.

OPTION 2: PARKING AT THE STADIUM

There will be pre-paid parking available for Imagine Dragons, please note that you need to book your parking ticket BEFORE the event. To book a parking ticket, click here.

R560.00: Bus Parking. 

  • Access via Nasrec (north bound), turn left into Recreation Road.
  • Access via Nasrec (south bound), turn into Shraft 17 Road, turn right into the parking area.

R560.00: Mini Bus Parking. Mini bus parking is located in the General Parking area (blue blocks).

  • Access via Nasrec (north bound), turn left into Recreation Road.
  • Access via Nasrec (south bound), turn into Shraft 17 Road, turn right into parking area.
  • Turn into Golden highway down to stadium road.

R560.00: Premium Parking. Closest proximity to venue, see premium parking location on map (Green Block)

  • Take the Rand Show Off Ramp / N1, turn left into Rand Show Road, turn left into Golden Highway Extension. You will proceed past multiple closures, turn right into Stadium Avenue.

R300.00: Exclusive Parking. Located inside the Expo Centre, this parking area is closer than the General Parking areas (Orange).

  • Take the Rand Show Off Ramp / N1, turn left into Rand Show Road, turn left into Golden Highway Extension (go past road closure), take the first road right into Ring 2 Road.

R150.00: General Parking. Furthest from the stadium, located in the BLUE blocks.

  • Access via Nasrec (north bound), turn left into Recreation Road.
  • Access via Nasrec (south bound), turn into Shraft 17 Road, turn right into parking area.
  • Access via Rand Show Road turn into Commerce Road.

NOTE: Vehicles will not be permitted to park without a valid parking ticket.

Disabled Parking

Disabled parking is managed by Stadium Management South Africa. To contact them, please call 011 247 5300 or email mbali@stadiummanagement.co.za.

Note that security will be ensuring that all disabled parking ticket holders have the relevant paperwork to allow them access to the dedicated parking area.

Traffic and Road Closures:

There will be full road closures from 10h00 by the JMPD to assist with traffic flow on Soweto Highway, Golden Highway, Nasrec Road and Booysens Reserve Road. 

All FNB Stadium precinct roads will be closed from 06H00.

  • Rand Show Road = OPEN and has access to prepaid parking.
  • Golden Highway = CLOSED between Rand Show Road and Soweto Highway. No access to parking.
  • Nasrec road = CLOSED between Recreation Road and Shaft 17 Road. There is access to prepaid parking.
  • Soweto Highway = CLOSED between Mentz Road and N2 Offramp: No access to parking.
  • Booysens Reserve Road = CLOSED between Mentz and N1 Onramp. No access to parking.

Parking access: When you arrive at the road closures, you will be diverted to your designated parking area. Please ensure you go via Rand show Road and Nasrec Road.

 

 OPTION 3: E-HAILING RIDE SHARE / UBER and DROP OFF

Dedicated ride-share positions have been arranged for E-Hailing / Uber services off Exhibition Road and Nasrec Road. Please only use this area to be dropped off and more importantly picked up after the show. Due to road closures and traffic congestion, this area has been set up for your ease of use. -26.243446, 27.975803.

WHERE TO ENTER THE STADIUM

Front Zone Standing: Enter through Outer Gate M & Gate G 

General Admission Standing: Enter through Outer Gate M and Gate

Additional information for Standing ticket holders:

  • Please consult security or info staff if you need help.
  • You cannot enter the stadium from any other access point.
  • Please follow security instructions as you will need to obtain the relevant field standing armband to access the field prior to entering the stadium.
  • All standing ticket holders will receive a wristband and be allowed entry to the floor on that armband. Please plan your arrival time accordingly to account for this process.
  • No persons under the age of 12 or shorter than 1,2m are permitted on the field, even with an adult.
  • We reserve the right to find alternative seating or refuse entry into the venue if there is no availability.
  • A responsible adult must accompany children 16 years of age and under.

Accessibility Patrons: Enter via Gate L if parking at PS16 or Gate G with parking PS8.

Seated tickets: Enter through Gate C, H & K as displayed on your ticket. You do not need an armband to access your seat, ushers are on hand to help direct you to your seat. Please note: all turnstiles can accept all seated tickets except for gate M & Gate G, if the turnstiles in front of you are busy, look left and right for alternative access points. Please follow instructions from security.

Suite tickets: ticket holders must enter via gate C. Suites will open at 17H00.

Stadium Management Lounge tickets enter through Gate C and proceed to Turnstile 1 or 2 and enter the stadium via Foyer A.

TOP-TIPS FOR HAVING THE BEST NIGHT OUT!

  • Get your tickets ready and download the Ticketmaster App.
  • Plan your journey and arrive early
  • Make sure you know where your specific entry point is.
  • Bring your ID if you intend to drink alcohol.
  • Make sure your phone is fully charged, you could even bring a portable battery pack.
  • Stay hydrated. All the dancing and singing can dehydrate you. Speak to a steward if you need some water.
  • Wear appropriate clothes for all weather conditions.
